Since then, the art has grown and developed, creating a one-of-a-kind garden from the man dubbed “the Andy Warhol of the South”.

If you’ve never tried natural spring water (no, not from the grocery store) then this is a must-try. The spring is located in Rolater Park, and we recommend bringing a few jugs to fill up. It’s refreshing, it’s clean, and it’s delicious.
- Camp Overnight in a Covered Wagon
Facebook The Rock Ranch Bring your family down to The Rock Ranch, where you can see firsthand how the settlers once lived. On the property, there are cow pastures, berries to be picked, and a family fun zone. However, the best part is that you’ll stay in one of their covered wagons overnight—truly a one-of-a-kind adventure.
- Hike to the Top of Blood Mountain
Flickr Anish Patel When we say one-of-a-kind, we really mean it. There is no other view quite like the view from the vista atop Blood Mountain. You’ll be able to see for miles in every direction, and witness everything nature has to offer, especially the massive mountains of the Blue Ridge chain.
- Witness the Whitewater Release at Tallulah Gorge

The Tallulah river flows through the rocky terrain, and carved an interestingly complex geological formation, which resulted in five incredible waterfalls. Only a few times a year do they release the dam waters, and boy, is that an experience to remember.
- Travel the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway

The open-air train ride itself is an adventure-of-a-lifetime. You’ll travel through the state in a few vintage train cars, appreciating the finer parts of Georgia that perhaps you overlook every day.
- Shoot the Chattahoochee River

The Starlight Drive-In features new movies on outdoors screens, and is a fun experience for the whole family. Pack a picnic and catch a film the old-school way.

Not only can you wander through the beautiful tupelo and cypress trees, you can also paddleboard across the calm water.
