Power Rangers fans will want to keep an eye on San Diego Comic-Con, as BOOM! Studios just announced a brand new Mighty Morphin Power Rangers panel titled Charge to 100 and Beyond! The panel is set to be a celebration of 100 issues and over five years of ongoing Power Rangers comics from BOOM!, and the panel will include Ryan Parrott, Matthew Groom, Dafna Pleban, Melissa Flores, and Allyson Gronowitz. Not only will it celebrate the impressive run so far, but the Beyond in that title suggests we’ll get some hints as to what is next for the series, perhaps including a tease of the new creative team....

In the Season 8 episode of The Simpsons titled The Springfield Files, Milhouse Van Houten can be seen playing an arcade game based on the movie Waterworld. The game cost Milhouse a whopping 40 quarters per play, but a fully fleshed out version can now be played online for free thanks to Simpsons fan @Mawcaw45! Released online as a freeware PC game, Kevin Costner’s Waterworld reimagines major moments from the motion picture, but remade in a style inspired by The Simpsons....

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players are learning how easy it is to find Shiny Pokemon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Shiny Pokemon have become a lot more commonplace in recent Pokemon games. While Shiny Pokemon have a default appearance rate of about 1 in 4000, Pokemon Legends: Arceus made the hunt for Shiny Pokemon much easier thanks to increased odds in Mass Outbreaks and appearances in the Overworld map. Mass Outbreaks are back in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet and they come with significantly higher odds of finding a Shiny Pokemon....

James Cameron decided to speak out on directing a superhero film after Avatar: The Way of Water. Comicbook.com’s Brandon Davis sat down with the legendary filmmaker to talk about his massive achievement. At the start of the interview, Cameron wanted to clear the air with a smile. “I just want to say ahead of time, I’m not going to diss the Marvel or the DC Universe,” he began. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet introduced the new Terastal phenomenon, which adds a unique new wrinkle to battles. The option allows players to change a Pokemon’s type, but it seems it actually does more than The Pokemon Company has acknowledged. YouTuber Eve-Pao has discovered that Terastallizing actually provides a boost to moves with a Base Power under 60. This is only the case for moves that match the Pokemon’s Tera type. For example, a Fuecoco with a Fire Tera type will have its Ember boosted from a Base Power of 40 to a Base Power of 60 after Terastallizing....
