Christmas is just a few days away, and Digital Eclipse is clearly feeling the holiday spirit. The developer is giving away a free Christmas-themed game to Steam users this week to everyone on the company’s mailing list! The game in question is called Jollyball. As its name implies, Jollyball is a festive take on the sport of volleyball, pitting teams of elves against one another. Players will have three difficulty levels to choose from, including Nice, Naughty, and Scrooge....

Netflix’s BioShock movie has reportedly gotten a director and a writer, both of whom have worked on various big-budget franchises such as The Hunger Games and Marvel’s Logan. The sequel to 2018’s Venom brought one of the title character’s most famous antagonists to the big screen. Venom: Let There be Carnage pitted Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock against Woody Harrelson’s Cletus Kasady in a symbiote showdown that played a big part in resurrecting the box office in Fall 2021. Carnage wreaks havoc for the majority of the 97-minute film before he runs into Venom at the culminating third act, which leads into their highly-anticipated clash....

A group of Anaheim Ducks players are apparently avid CATAN players. Bally’s Sport rinkside reporter Aly Lozoff recently shared on Twitter about a group of Anaheim Ducks hockey players who play CATAN on the road. According to Lozoff, the players include goalies John Gibson and Anthony Stolarz, center Adam Henrique, and defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk, with Ryan Strome recently joining the group after he purchased the 5-6 Player expansion pack. Transport of the actual CATAN games falls to the rookies as a form of light hazing, with Mason McTavish and Pavol Regenda currently in charge of bringing the game on road trips and making sure it gets to the veteran CATAN players....

Today was the big press conference featuring Logan Paul and Roman Reigns, and it more than delivered. Michael Cole introduced The Bloodline first, including The Usos, Solo Sikoa, Sami Zayn, and Paul Heyman, and then he rolled out a special introduction for Roman Reigns. It looks like the 2023 release window for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has been narrowed down just a bit. First announced by PlayStation and Insomniac Games last year, the highly-anticipated sequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man was confirmed to launch in 2023. Since that time, PlayStation has been incredibly silent about Spider-Man 2 and hasn’t said a peep about the game over the course of 2022. Real Steel’s director offered another update on the series and how it’s going so far. Collider caught up with Shawn Levy to discuss the upcoming project and talk some Deadpool 3. While that conversation was going on, the filmmaker actually shared that he’s begun hearing pitches for the series. Now, there’s just been some people who actually went in a direction that he loved. Not long ago, we gave you a road map to a terrifying road trip through eastern Nebraska.
