Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora may be in some trouble, according to an insider. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is finally hitting theatres next month, and it will feature some returning favorites from the first film as well as some exciting newcomers. When the trailer was released during San Diego Comic-Con this summer, it featured the first look at I May Destroy You’s Michaela Coel’s character, Aneka. She will be playing a member of the Midnight Angels, a strike force composed of some of the best Dora Milaje....

Capri Suns are facing a recall after a batch of the juice drink was contaminated. Kraft Heinz announced a voluntary pulling of 5,760 cases of their Wild Cherry flavor. In a release, the company says that there were cases that got filled partially with diluted cleaning solution. (The plants use that solution to keep food processing equipment running at optimal capacity.) For those worried, it it important to point out that this only affects the Wild Cherry flavor....

Considering the ways in which it has been dominating the Halloween season in recent years, it’s hard to imagine that the original Hocus Pocus initially earned an underwhelming reaction from audiences. Microsoft has launched a new website that offers a bunch of resources with regard to Xbox’s acquisition of Activision. Earlier this year, Microsoft announced that it would be acquiring Activision for just under $70 billion. It’s an incredibly historic deal for the entertainment industry as a whole and if it goes through, it will be the most expensive deal in the history of gaming. It would give Microsoft control over Activision, developers like Infinity Ward, Treyarch, and Blizzard, and franchises like Call of Duty....

Need for Speed Unbound has a ton of layered customization and a series of new videos highlights what that looks like. Need for Speed is one of the most beloved racing franchises in the gaming industry, it’s one of the foundational series of modern racing games and has been a major player for decades. Sadly, EA kind of let the series sputter out over the last generation with games that were mixed at best and truly bad at worst, so other franchises like Forza Horizon came in and took over in a big bold way....

Paramount+ has released a new promotional video introducing the robot characters featured in Transformers: EarthSpark, the new animated series set to debut on the streaming service in November. The new video – which follows the first look at the series released during San Diego Comic-Con – reveals several classic Transformers characters, and their alt modes, with new designs. They include Arcee, who transforms into a muscle car, Wheeljack, whose alt mode is a rally car, and Soundwave, who transforms into a stealth aircraft....

Angela Bassett has officially won a Golden Globe for her performance in Marvel’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. On Tuesday, Bassett took home the trophy for Best Supporting Actress in Any Motion Picture, for her role as Queen Ramonda in the recent Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel. This makes Bassett not only the first actress from a Marvel movie to be nominated for an individual acting trophy, but with the entire award. Nominees in the category also included Kerry Condon for the Banshees of Inisherin, Jamie Lee Curtis for Everything Everywhere All at Once, Dolly de Leon for Triangle of Sadness, and Carey Mulligan for She Said....
