Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is coming to Disney+ next month as well as on Digital, 4k Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD. The latest Marvel Cinematic Universe film is also having some success this awards season with Angela Bassett winning a Golden Globe this week for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture. Thor: Love and Thunder hit theatres this weekend and scored the third-biggest box office opening of the year as well as the biggest opening for a Thor movie. However, there is another movie in theatres that is still thriving. Minions: The Rise of Gru was released last week and managed to earn record-breaking box office numbers for July 4th weekend. Following the $48m+ first day for Minions 2, which is a pandemic era-best for an animated feature, the movie topped the Independence Day weekend record that was set by Paramount’s Transformers: The Last Knight back in 2011....

To coincide with the 2022 Pokemon World Championships, Nintendo has decided to make a popular Pokemon game on Switch free-to-play for a limited span of time. At this point, there are a number of Pokemon games available on Switch, all of which have sold quite well. And while some fans surely would have liked to see Nintendo make games like Pokemon Sword/Shield, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl, or Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu/Eevee become available free, the publisher is instead making a lesser-known entry in the franchise available for certain Switch owners....

We’re officially in the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law era, with the Disney+ exclusive series delivering a hilarious and slice-of-life take on the Marvel Cinematic Universe. That especially appears to be the case in the series’ newest episode, with a newly-released clip from Episode 2 showcasing a delightfully-awkward chapter in the superhero origin story of Jennifer Walters / She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany). Stranger Things 4 Volume 2 is now streaming on Netflix – and its arrival caused the entire streaming platform to crash! Downdetector.com reported a spike in Netflix user issues at 3 a.m. EST – the exact moment when Stranger Things 4 Volume 2 first premiered on the service. Errors reportedly peaked at 13,000 around that time – but to Netflix’s credit, things were resolved within a half hour’s time. Stranger Things Season 4 is undoubtedly its biggest and most ambitious season yet, with these final two episodes being tasked with sticking the landing of a sprawling narrative....
