Bill Sienkiewicz revealed a stunning tribute to Kevin Conroy this week. Fans from all over gathered to celebrate the voice actor after his death at the age of 66. Conroy would also play Bruce Wayne in live-action during Crisis on Infinite Earths on The CW’s Arrowverse. Epic Games has confirmed that it won’t interfere with anyone’s plans to utilize NFTs or the blockchain on the Epic Games Store. Earlier this week, the developers of Minecraft completely banned NFTs and the blockchain from the game. At the time, the developer stated that it wanted to create an equal and even space for players that focuses on play rather than profiteering. “To ensure that Minecraft players have a safe and inclusive experience, blockchain technologies are not permitted to be integrated inside our Minecraft client and server applications nor may they be utilized to create NFTs associated with any in-game content, including worlds, skins, persona items, or other mods....

The fan-favorite Reese Witherspoon movie Election is getting a surprise sequel, which is headed to Paramount+, and Reese Witherspoon is returning to star in it! Titled “Tracy Flick Can’t Win,” the sequel will focus on Witherspoon’s character Tracy Flick, who tried (unsuccessfully) to win her high school election through some dirty political means while battling morally dubious high school teacher Jim McAllister (Matthew Broderick). Election director and co-writer Alexander Payne is also onboard for the sequel as director and co-writer; Jim Taylor will help co-write the film....

The long-awaited Five Nights at Freddy’s Movie now has a director and a date for when it will begin filming. Five Nights at Freddy’s is one of the biggest franchises in gaming, particularly when it comes to the horror genre. It managed to sink its hooks into a wide audience as it’s not so terrifying and violent that it would warrant an M-rating, instead managing to secure a T-rating, making it more accessible to a younger audience....

GTA Online’s routine weekly update has added a different sort of event this week by introducing a limited-time community vote for players to participate in from now until mid-September. The event in question centers around a “capitalist’s fever dream” in which players have to pledge their loyalty to one of two brands to see which side can amass more votes and other means of participation before the event concludes. The good news is that it looks like everyone will be a winner during this event so long as you participate to some degree with rewards divvied out at the end....

Marvel Studios secured its first-ever Oscar nomination for an actor, with Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’s Angela Bassett nominated for Best Supporting Actress. This is a big deal for the Marvel film, and shows just how much has changed in the eyes of The Academy that an actor’s performance in a comic book movie is worthy enough to be nominated. Bassett portrayed Queen Ramondain Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the mother figure for T’Challa (the late Chadwick Boseman) and Shuri (Letitia Wright)....

In trade, the plant provides the fungi with a constant supply of carbohydrates like glucose and fructose....

Joe, this is the first time that the former WWE Champion is kickstarting a comic book project. Johnson is set to star as the titular character in Black Adam, a DC Comics story about an ancient Egyptian anti-hero who finds himself in the crosshairs of the Justice Society....

After a chaotic Money in the Bank match, Liv Morgan would be the one holding the Money in the Bank briefcase and then would successfully cash it on Ronda Rousey after her match against Natalya later in the night to become the new SmackDown Women’s Champion. Tonight Morgan made her grand return to SmackDown as the new Champion, and Michael Cole hopped in the ring to interview her. A you deserve it chant broke out and then Cole said that Ronda had sustained a knee injury before Morgan cashed in, teasing that Rousey might want her rematch around SummerSlam....
