Jeremy Renner suffered a tragic accident on New Year’s Day after he rescued a family member that was stuck in the snow and his snow plow ran him over. Renner got admitted to the hospital and was in stable but critical condition for a few days. The actor posted an update on his Instagram revealing that while he’s severely hurt he is alive and well. According to a member of his team, the actor suffered “blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries,” and had to undergo emergency surgery the next day. His Marvel Studios costars and actors have been sending him messages of love and wishing that the actor would get well soon. He has also been promoting the upcoming second season of his Apple TV+ series Mayor of Kingstown and that includes posting the latest poster which shows him with cuts and bruises. It seems that the people behind-the-scenes of the series found that the poster was in ill taste in light of his accident, and they updated it to remove all of the cuts and bruises.
