James Gunn and Peter Safran have finally cleared up most of the confusion around their DC Studios plans by unveiling their new slate of projects yesterday. Gunn and Safran announced a massive slate of projects that they’re calling Chapter 1: Gods and Monsters, and included the title of the next Superman and Batman movies. Superman: Legacy, The Batman – Part II and The Brave and the Bold were among the projects announced, but most of the slate is pretty obscure. The new DC Studios co-CEOs will release an animated series based on the Creature Commandos and a live action film based on The Authority. Gunn is known for making misfit characters more popular, so those announcements aren’t that surprising. But it seems that during the presentation he also could have revealed that they are working on a Plastic Man project. ComicBook.com’s Brandon Davis got to attend the event and Gunn teased how they could use their more popular characters to boost their more unknown characters like Booster Gold and even Plastic Man.
