Saturday Night Live! is getting ready to launch the Spring 2023 half of the 48th season of the hit variety series, and it’s going to be very different from previous seasons. One thing that will remain the same is the weekly hosts and musical guests making an appearance. SNL Season 48 announced their first round of hosts and musical guests for the upcoming second half of the season and one other just so happens to be Aubrey Plaza (The White Lotus, Agatha: Coven of Chaos). Plaza hosted last weekend’s episode of SNL and featured Sam Smith as the musical guest. Plaza’s episode of the series looks like a big hit with the official numbers coming out. According to Nielsen (via Deadline), Plaza’s episode of SNL drew in 4.8 Million viewers, making it the most watched episode of the season so far. Michael B. Jordan is set to serve as this weekend’s host with Lil Baby serving as the musical guest. Hopefully the duo can continue the viewership streak.
